• Adapted performances to suit different audiences, such as intimate themed dining experiences at Gates Rothwell to pubs and clubs in my local area and I was asked to bring the opening set of Oulton fest 2025.

I worked upstairs sorting through donations.

My job was to sift through what could be resold and what was for recycling.

I would then sort anything to be sold into categories such as item type or size and seasonal.

I would also steam clean anything that required it in order for it to be presentable on the shop floor.

• Identified a gap in the market for affordable local sales of lollies to children and parents on limited income.
• Researched and purchased merchandise at the lowest price possible to ensure a cheap sale whilst making a small profit.
• Identified places of interest and contacted them when events were happening and negotiated a stall to sell at such as Rothwell carnival and Oulton manor Christmas fairs Oulton fest and breeze at Rothwell and woodlesford park.
• Offered friendly, efficient customer service and handled challenging situations with ease.
• Cleaned work areas and equipment to maintain faultless hygiene standards when making your party bags and Halloween/ Christmas bags and cups.
• Displayed energy and enthusiasm in fast-paced environment
• Completed customer orders with speed and accuracy such as taking money and giving change and taking deposits for pre planned events.
• Oversaw daily operations to achieve high productivity levels.
• Delivered exceptional customer service by proactively listening to customer feedback and asking for any trends customers would like such as popping candy being added to my sales.
• Consistently arrived at work on time and ready to start immediately. I used to get home from school as soon as possible and set up outside my home in time for the local primary school to close so I was ready for parents and children wanting to buy my products.
• Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently such as stock control and made sure when there was a trend i ordered more of that particular flavour in so as to never run out of stock.
• Made a cart so I could transport my stock and used to take this as far as to Bridlington caravan park where I would walk round selling my lollies and I organised a treasure hunt when my sales were slow to increase my sales and ensure I was not forgotten in the market.
• I also got a shout out from Sara Davies from dragons den in regards to my entrepreneurialism.
• I had uniform made and posters and signs for events and so I was easily recognised for my business.
