I am currently working as a Procurement Apprentice at Rolls-Royce within the Defence Aerospace sector, where I support procurement and supply chain activities in a highly regulated environment. My role involves contributing to supplier selection and performance management, supporting contract and governance processes, and working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure supply continuity and compliance. I have gained hands-on experience with supplier scorecards, risk assessment, and commercial documentation, while applying ethical and responsible procurement principles aligned to CIPS best practice. This experience has provided me with a strong foundation in aerospace procurement and has confirmed my ambition to progress into degree-level supply chain leadership.

I previously worked at McDonald’s in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where I developed strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. The role required working to strict procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements while consistently meeting performance targets. I regularly collaborated with team members during peak service periods, handled customer queries professionally, and adapted quickly to changing priorities. This experience strengthened my ability to work under pressure, follow structured processes, and contribute effectively within a team — skills that I continue to apply in my current procurement role.
