Lola Metcalfe

I am an 18-year-old student at the University of Bristol studying English and Spanish.

I received two A* and an A in English Literature, Spanish and History A-Levels, the second-highest in my year.

I am hard-working, reliable and able to follow instructions as well as work without supervision.

I have developed strong leadership skills and initiative throughout my extensive experience working with children for years at numerous sporting events and competitions within the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

My determination and dedication are further highlighted by my many achievements, including Outstanding English Student, the highest performer in my school year, Leader of the Year and Performing Arts Awards.

I also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and I am bilingual (half French).

My main passions are reading and drama, especially performing:

• 11 years in drama and musical theatre companies Perform and PQA (acting, dancing, singing, choreographing, as well as teaching younger students), including the main part in a performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End and RSL PQA Stage & Screen Award Grade 4 (passed with Distinction)
• 2 years at Toni Farrer's Academy of Dance (tap dance, contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, etc)
• Passionate about literature and history
• 5 years of piano
• 4 years of football
• Interested in languages (half French), aiming to be trilingual: English, French and Spanish
