Summary

I am a passionate 1st language Welsh speaker and I am Teacher of Welsh at the John Frost School. I plan and deliver differentiated lessons for all abilities of students aged between eleven to eighteen. I have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and proven track record of GCSE results. In recent years I have successfully integrating educational technology, using Hwb and Chromebooks in the classroom and online platforms to move with the times and help facilitate engagement, enjoyment and ultimately ensure all students make good progress. I have a proven track record in managing classrooms effectively to encourage student to not only achieve but exceed potential. I monitor and use data effectively to ensure each and every student is motivated to succeed. I thrive on improving student performance and spend time to focus on working with students, parents and colleagues alike to teach and motivate students. I am compassionate, creative and an effective Teacher with valuable experience in classroom teaching Welsh and also take on a key roll of taking care of students well-being and safeguarding. I am resourceful and can quickly identify and resolve challenging classroom behaviours. I have excellent organisation skills and I can communicate on different platforms.
