In my role as Professional Lead Nurse, I am accountable for overall standards of nursing practice in the division, aiming to improve experience and outcomes of service users in the community. I provide professional leadership and advice to nursing staff at all levels within the service division. I ensure Trust and Nursing objectives inform the delivery of our services. I work closely with the divisional Director of Nursing providing nursing governance including leadership, professional regulation, learning and development and quality activity to enhance the service offered within the division.

Operational management covering a range of community mental health teams in North West Sussex. Responsible for performance management, retention and recruitment, service development and maintaining high standards of care.

Team Leader for Chichester Community Mental Health Team. Day to day operational management. Caseload management and clinical supervision. Specialist interest in complex emotional needs pathway. Training. Building interagency relationships.

Operational and clinical leadership of Nurse led Group Treatment Service predominantly for people with complex emotional needs. Service development and patient safety.
