My role includes the following:

• Collaborate effectively with schools, settings, colleagues, and partner agencies to assess and monitor provision for children and young people with SEN, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Monitor progress of children and young people against agreed objectives and outcomes, actively participating in annual review meetings.
• Evaluate outcomes at a systemic level, contributing to the development of systems and processes to facilitate assessment.
• Partner with parents, schools, and services to address placement and provision issues for EHC pupils, analyzing trends and data from annual reviews.
• Prepare for annual review meetings by thoroughly reviewing reports and case file information to ensure productive discussions.
• Attend annual review meetings, providing constructive challenge on progress, attainment, and provision.
• Systematically report findings from annual review meetings and request provision changes based on evidence.
• Provide advice and guidance on statutory processes to parents, schools, and partner services.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for SENCOs and other key partners in collaboration with SEN Team members.
• Support the wider SEN Team by delivering training and assistance for more complex annual reviews.
• Collaborate with SEN Finance to understand EHCP funding, ensuring accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and value for money.
• Work closely with schools, colleagues, and partner agencies to monitor SEN provision and its impact on outcomes.
• Partner with schools to deliver value for money initiatives at individual and whole-school levels, fostering effective participation models through annual reviews with accountability.

• I have over 20 years of Teaching experience in Primary schools
• I have set up an objective LED planning in Early years in a failing school, where Nicola Hart (EYFS Specialist for Walsall Council) made a comment on their Ofsted Inspection, Outstanding!
• I was a PPA Teacher across all year groups for 4-5 years, teaching music across the primary phase, ensuring it is delivered effectively.
• Differentiated lesson delivery and class assessments to needs of various abilities, learning styles and educational needs.
• Strengthened class management techniques to elevate student behaviour, improving focus and engagement.
