I am on an 18-month secondment, focusing on medium to large-scale projects, including staff induction and training during a company merger. In this role, I create and deliver training materials and serve as the Process Specialist for Learning Consultants, receiving recognition through internal awards.


Responsibilities:


  • The creation of digital mortgage and FCA E-learning using Articulate Rise and Storyline, ensuring that learning is interactive and inclusive


  • Use of PowerPoint to create presentations, which have included animated presentations, links in presentations, clear and friendly visuals, and recording step-by-step videos


  • Meeting with stakeholders to assess training needs, followed by producing a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and Learning Proposal. Strong communication is needed to ensure that the correct information is captured


  • Storyboarding as part of the material creation process to determine what the finished learning will look like, and sharing this information with stakeholders


  • Writing operations process guides for existing Learning Consultants. Also tasked with writing guides for new starters and existing employees, using visuals and text.


  • Creating learning objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy and considering if objectives were met at the end of training sessions


  • - Continuous self-development work through watching online videos, following guides, and linking in with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the business


  • Compliance with auditing through the use of version control and record-keeping


  • Holding virtual and in-person training sessions with delegates, using various styles of material such as PowerPoint, videos, example phone calls, and Articulate Rise packages


  • Onboarding candidates, which includes welcome emails, welcome podcasts, and weekly timetables


  • Use of the Kirkpatrick model to evaluate if learning has been successful, and hold post-training meetings with stakeholders


  • Raising risks, assumptions, and dependency issues and suggesting ways of mitigating these
