I have been a School Governor since September 2015 responsible for monitoring pupil premium activity and pupil outcomes for Hearsall Community Academy (part of the Inspire Education Trust (IET)). I became a Director of IET (multi-trust academy) in September 2019 to February 2025 and was the Chair of the People, Pay and Performance committee. I supported the board of Directors with all strategic HR decisions. I stepped down from the Board in February 2025 to support the family business.
