I currently hold position of artworker/digital printer for a company that specialises in printed management solutions. This includes identification, visitor management and contractor control. They produce wide ranges of systems that includes discreet visitor books and tear-off passes recommended for GDPR compliance, NCR pads and booklets as well as work place permits to work.

My role includes:

• Designing artwork to customers requirements and specifications, which includes incorporating their corporate branding and guidelines.
• Creating PDF proofs for client approval prior to moving towards the final print stages.
• Enhance quality of print files by utilising Pantone system effectively for precise colour matching in both four colour digital printing and two colour litho printing. I also prepare files for reel to reel continual printing thermal labels.
• Preparing print files for a DPX plate maker, for the Heidelburg press.
• Operating the Xerox Versant 180 digital printer.
• Using Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis.

I held the position of studio technician/artworker at a leading vehicle livery specialists. It was my role to design graphics and implement prearranged designs into a format that would work for specific vehicles and signage.

I also produced designs for labels, particularly gas cylinder and collar labels, often working with tight layouts and legal restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare artwork in response to requirements detailed within a brief, utilising Adobe Creative Suite.
• Converting, preparing and retouching artwork in multiple formats for large format digital print, screen print separation, and vinyl cutting plotters.
• Worked closely with clients to create bespoke designs, meeting their unique needs.
• Calculating material usage.
