To deliver the National Curriculum to the Year 1 class. Responsible for planning, teaching and assessing, as well as ensuring pupil progress, including preparation for the Phonics Screening Check. Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations, whilst also managing and deploying support staff.

Responsible for planning, teaching and assessing across four school placements. Teaching a variety of year groups across the Primary age.

To develop an understanding of how to teach a subject, as well as how to undertake the role of a teacher through subject knowledge sessions and theory-based learning.

To meet and achieve the Teachers’ Standards in order to gain QTS.

GTA - To support and assist in the delivery of the National Curriculum, working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, under the direction of the class teacher. To work as part of a small team, delivering diabetic care. Assisting with playground supervision and administering minor first aid following appropriate procedures.

HLTA – Responsible for providing PPA cover across FS2 - Year 3, and Year 5, which included planning, teaching and assessing, following the National Curriculum objectives. Also required to cover absences, often at short notice.

To support and assist in the delivery of the national curriculum, working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, under the direction of the class teacher. Responsible for ensuring interventions are completed and administering physiotherapy to a particular pupil. Preparing learning resources and performing minor clerical duties. Assisting with playground supervision and administering minor first aid, following appropriate procedures. Working alongside the midday team, ensuring a safe and caring environment.

Classroom support, small group intervention, playground supervision.

Providing childcare, delivering the EYFS framework and organising activities. Transporting children to and from school, providing a safe environment and regular healthy meals. Undertaking children’s personal care and liaising with parents.
