I provided advice to Cancer patients and carers on their rights at work and protection from disability discrimination as well as the right to ask employer to consider reasonable adjustments to support if needed.

Advised on other aspects of employment law such as disciplinary and grievance procedures and statutory redundancy process.

I have been working in this current role since June 2020.

From June 2015- June 2020 I was a Financial Guide at Macmillan Cancer Support.

This role involves providing guidance to Cancer patients on all aspects of personal finances including Mortgages, Insurance claims such as critical illness cover, income protection and terminal illness benefit. Supporting with Estate Planning such as will writing, powers of attorney and administrating of an estate. Signposting to appropriate services is patient has concerns about debts. We also offered an advocacy service to patients if needed.
