Summary

Having three children under the age of three, I have worked within childcare settings for nearly 40 years.

I started off helping at playgroups and progreesed from there.

I moved to each setting as it allowed me to be with my children, gain knowledge and experience at the same time.

Hence ending up in schools then later into College.

I was the Child Breavement Councillor at St John's, carer for a child with Type 1 diabetes for three years and Outdoor Learning Co ordinator for 10 years.

Parental/Grandparents/ Family engagement support was ongoing as part of my role.

I have ran many marathons and organised charity events to provide equipment, support and awareness for the children within the Community.

JDRF was special as I was able to speak with experience about the impact Type 1 has on the childrens Learning.

Outdoor Learning has always been a passion and I have created many learning environments linking to all areas of the curriculum, age appropriate to the needs of the children. I am a team player and remain professional at all times.
