I am a bubbly yet professional and hardworking cleaner from Barnsley that has a great eye for detail, excellent multi tasking skills & great time management, however always completing a job to its full potential. I love to keep busy and on the move whether that is in a group or a solo project. I will happily take criticism where due as we are always learning and want to make sure I'm bettering myself that little bit more everyday!
I have previously and currently cleaned in many different environments, from public bathrooms, offices, bingo halls, family centres, schools and private houses. This has allowed me to carry out an enormous amount of different jobs, all requiring different chemicals, equipment & PPE etc. I also pick up various relief cleaning jobs which also help me to grow my cleaning knowledge and skills massively.
Working in an environment around young children has allowed my knowledge on all cleaning products and equipment to develop greatly. I am fully aware on what exact products I need to be using for different jobs, along with correctly storing them alway every time. I am required to work at a fast pace, yet completing every job to a high standard, whilst keeping all in use equipment out of reach of children.
I have also trained up new staff when needed.
My main jobs are to fully disinfect all surfaces, hoover and mop all offices, PE/food halls, staff room, kitchen, toilets, and the main reception area. I feel highly honoured to have been chosen to clean this run as it's the main entrance that all parents, visitors and staff see the most, which is why I keep my standards exceptionally high! I also use buffing machines on large wooden floors, and clean all my glass areas.
Working in a restaurant has gained me so much confidence when communicating with customers, whether that is taking orders, answering takeaway calls, welcoming and seating guests, being greatly apologetic when things go wrong, answering customer questions on the spot about different food allergies, specials on the menu, and explaining different deals.
My jobs as a waitress required me to work at a fast pace, especially in school/bank holidays when the restaurant was much busier. I made sure all tables were deep cleaned before and after use. I made sure to do check ins throughout every customers visit to ensure their time with us was excellent. I took both card and cash payments whilst asking for feedback on their visit.
