Lilly Rudd

I currently work a zero hour contract at Silverstone Track in various catering roles from conference waiting, working in the cafe and various events for high profile customers such as Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari. I was responsible for helping clients get the best service and catering to their needs as well as being responsible for managing agency staff and leading a team. I communicated well with the customers and with other staff and supervisors and could take the lead in difficult situations. I dealt with sudden problems and found solutions often with demanding and challenging customers in a professional and extremely busy environment.

I have adapted to many different roles in this job starting from cashier work building my way up to managing my own team and working alone as a barista managing the coffee house. This job requires new roles that vary from usually working in catering such as:

• preparing a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks catering to customers needs
• Providing an enthusiastic and friendly approach to greeting customers and taking orders accurately.

I worked alongside my dad in the media industry on a Professional film shoot.

I studied media production at Northampton College for 2 years and during my time of study I worked on different short films behind the scenes gained an insight into a professional industry.

During these jobs I have taken on many different roles such as Runner, gaffer assistant and helping props and makeup.

I have gained valuable experience working on set in both student and professional settings with a key understanding of the importance of teamwork, working on a tight and complex schedule

My first job role was working as a pot wash for a local cafe within this job I took on key responsibility's and learnt key roles for working in a professional environment such as:

• adhering to vital health and safety regulations while safely dealing with dangerous equipment and machinery.

• Managed dishwashing duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards were consistent and at a professional level.
