I currently work a zero hour contract at Silverstone Track in various catering roles from conference waiting, working in the cafe and various events for high profile customers such as Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari. I was responsible for helping clients get the best service and catering to their needs as well as being responsible for managing agency staff and leading a team. I communicated well with the customers and with other staff and supervisors and could take the lead in difficult situations. I dealt with sudden problems and found solutions often with demanding and challenging customers in a professional and extremely busy environment.


I have adapted to many different roles in this job starting from cashier work building my way up to managing my own team and working alone as a barista managing the coffee house. This job requires new roles that vary from usually working in catering such as:

  • preparing a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks catering to customers needs

I worked alongside my dad in the media industry on a Professional film shoot.

I studied media production at Northampton College for 2 years and during my time of study I worked on different short films behind the scenes gained an insight into a professional industry.

  • Music - I am a musician and am currently working towards my Grade 8 award. I passed Grade 7 with a distinction and am a member of the Northamptonshire County Youth Brass Band. I have played in lots of venues including the Royal Albert Hall, The Birmingham Symphony Hall and most recently on a band trip I played in Prague.

Accomplishments

    Bronze Duke of Edinburgh:

    I was awarded the bronze DofE certificate which I took part during covid conditions.

    This boosted my confidence and ability to work in a team and take on a leadership role when needed.

Certification

St Johns Ambulance First aid award:

I completed a first aid course learning basic but life saving first aid and how to deal with difficult situations to a persons. physical health. this is something I have used in many serious situations and I have learned to be structured and calm in this situation.
