I currently work as a call centre operator for the company in which i have learnt a great number of skills. Within the year of working for this company I have been trained on two different books of business including SCOTT pensions and I currently service NPI, PEARL and London Life pensions. I am currently trained in all lines including general servicing, bereavements, encashments and annuities alongside dealing with complaints. whilst having the experience of knowing both books of business and the knowledge l've had, I became a floorwalker meaning I had to support other colleagues, taking supervisor calls for the company, dealing with complaints and completing 1-1 support sessions for new trainees also completing their compliance calls.
Over the past year I have developed empathetic client relationships and earned reputation for consistently exceeding customer service, addressed customer service enquires quickly and accurately, built rapport with customers through courteous and professional communications and reviewed and updated service protocols regularly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry guidelines.
As a bartender I had a very big responsibility to ensure all customers were satisfied and were getting fast and quality service from me. Aswell as being a bartender I would flex to do different activities throughout the workplace to make sure people who were just ordering food were satisfied as-well.
This job required me to do different skills like stock checks and stocking up at the end of every shift, checked identification of customers to ensure legal drinking age compliance, cleaning tables and organising behind the bar, cutting up different garnishes for drinks and becoming familiar with how to make certain drinks off the top of my head, customer service, becoming acquainted with regular customers, training how to put out possible fires, and becoming familiar with the tills and to take big payments quickly and frequently.
As a crew trainer at McDonalds, I learnt a lot within building basic life skills, for example communication skills when serving and aiding customers. My role within the company was not only to work in different stations at the store, but to clean around me, and to help/teach different workers into becoming the best they could. Getting a promotion in McDonalds became one of my biggest accomplishments as it proved that I was diligent, enthusiastic and reliable. I have a lot of experience to dealing with customers face to face, serving and catering, working on tills, and dealing with customer complaints. I provided one-to-one coaching, improving overall job competence among new hires, developed employees' skills in new tasks or stations and set positive examples for team members by demonstrating quality service.
I took part in a work experience opportunity at the nursery in Hampton Lakes, as I am very confident working with a range of age groups, it was definitely one of the best experiences I've had, it opened my eyes to many different roles within the work life and made me enjoy a variety of responsibilities that were different to working at previous jobs, this ranged from preparing meals for the children, enhanced children's social skills through organising group activities, gave them 1-1 playtime to show care and putting their safety above all else, it made me realise how passionate I am about others and their well-being before my own, and my passion into putting effort into everything I wish to accomplish in life. The role was very rewarding and supporting teachers with daily routines for another classroom operation was very eye opening for me.
