An Energetic and friendly recent School leaver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am eager to apply my learned skills in a practical setting and develop them further together with the knowledge of the team in this new role. I am really excited to further my education with this apprenticeship and hopefully this will allow me new opportunities as my career progresses.
Working as part of this events team we have delivered many high-quality catered events (From 10 – 300 covers). We arrive early and set up the mobile kitchen / BBQ equipment and get everything ready for the Events. I provide support to the team in a range of operations including bar service, food preparation and front of house duties such as waitering. I really enjoy interacting with the guests to make sure that they have an enjoyable experience.
Working alongside the swimming teachers, I assist with teaching the children of all ages between 2 and 14 in the pool. This can be on a one-to-one basis with children with learning difficulties or in a group lesson where there can be 8-10 students at one time. Since joining this club the teachers have given me more responsibility with leading the children as many of them always ask for me to be with them in the pool.
I also sit on the front desk when not in the pool, meeting and greeting the parents and children before their lessons, booking them into the correct classes and carrying out an necessary administration that is required.
I have played in my local football team for the last 5 years and really enjoy the competitiveness this brings. There have been many ups and downs from a serious Knee injury to winning a cup final but what I love the most is being with my friends and the encouragement we give to each other to be the best team that we can be.
