• In addition to the sales duties, was assigned to take additional responsibilities as marketing coordinator in-charge. Responsibilities included setup of a new marketing department in the hotel through developing and implementing hotel marketing plans to generate higher awareness and grow revenue for different hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing teams in maximising revenue of the hotel.
• Responsible for updating rates and inventory of 150 rooms hotel through various online channels and coordinating efforts with market manager teams.
• Evaluate and execute promotional sales offers for guest purchase through a variety of online travel agencies, flash sales and traditional wholesalers.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining all content and photos displayed on 3rd party websites, internal Diamond Resorts and hotels homepage as well as working directly with our internal creative team on company brand and image.
• Establish and process on new wholesaler and advertising contracts through legal policies and procedures, reconcile invoices and submit for check requests.
• Simultaneously run a variety of projects with little supervision

• Maintain presentation of the showroom to the highest level and work in line with set Visual Merchandising guidelines
• Establish and build strong customer relationships whilst delivering exceptional customer excellence
• Engage face to face and over the phone with customers to consult and promote sales
• Following up orders, enquiries and emails to convert quotes
• Working cohesively with the team to achieve set sales targets and maximise campaign sales
• Assisting customers with their purchasing decision by identifying their needs and wants and suggesting suitable options
• Check and top up samples, product cards, Turnstyle Designs, Brochures and all material used in Showroom
• Use in-house systems to process sales orders

• Started as interior design internship for 3 months then taken into full-time designer in assisting 12 in-house designers in planning and implanting clients' requests
• Handed 30+ calls a day, documenting concerns or requests and redirecting clients to appropriate departments as needed
• Met with clients to determine décor needs and project scopes covering space planning, layout and colour schemes
• Finished 4 major projects with combined revenue of £45k
• Maintained updated knowledge on industry trends and changing styles, contributing successful ideas and productive client relationships
• Created mood boards to aid early design and planning phases
