Lilia Richmond

I teach individuals ranging from the age of 18 months to 18 years classical, ballroom, Latin, country, hip-hop, freestyle, cheerleading, jazz and musical theatre. Within this role, I lead parent and infant classes as well as independent dance sessions, which covers appropriate the material for each age range.

Through this role I have not only communicated with dancers, but with parents and suppliers. I have hosted events including: presentation days, performance / show days, charity events, discos, birthday parties and held professional examinations.

Previously, I have cared for both a young girl and a young boy who have additional needs. I have assisted them both with daily activities and taken them out in the community to take part in age suitable activities. Within this role I have also had to deal with challenging behaviours and maintain the safety of each child and myself. This role has helped me to develop my leadership skills as well as my decision making skills. As a support worker, I would love to be able to bond with my service users so having similar interests would be ideal. I enjoy listening and playing music, dancing, baking, and long walks . However, I would also love to learn new things and would be interested in trying out new activities.
