Undergraduate environmental science student seeking a 6 month placement in conservation and environmental fieldwork. Experienced in habitat restoration projects, coastal conservation and hands-on fieldwork with data analysis, with strong health and safety awareness through the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) training. A motivated and adaptable team player, keen to gain practical and professional experience working in diverse outdoor environments.
Hiking, surfing, swimming and skiing. Strong personal interest in natural environments and biodiversity, shaped by growing up in North Devon and in an AONB and from travelling internationally, experiencing a range of ecosystems and conservation challenges.
After graduating, I aim to further develop my experience and knowledge by volunteering internationally, helping in communities and NGOs to help conserve ecosystems and take part in scientific data collection. My interests lie in global climate policy and wildlife conservation and opportunities where I can pursue a career that involves fieldwork and hands-on data collection and monitoring rather than exclusively office-based work.
First Aid at Work (level 3) and Oxygen Administration (level 2), (renews 6th February 2028).
