Libby Furnell

• I spent nearly 2 weeks doing my work experience placement working in the EYFS classroom with 4 and 5 year olds
• I absolutely loved my time here interacting with the children
• I helped with maths, reading, outdoor play and painting
• We took them swimming, and I helped out with sports day and the school concert

Littlebury is a busy GP in my town, they cover a large area. At Littlebury I have had opportunities to have professional conversations with other healthcare professionals and patients and their families. I have been involved in a variety of cases, care home visits and patients consultation.

• During my time at QEH, I was lucky enough to be able to be invited onto lots of different wards and areas of the hospital, including Maternity, Theatre, Orthopaedics and Stroke Unit
• I also got to see different aspects of the hospital spending the day with porters and the domestics team
• Being at QEH taught me the importance of working as part of a team as well as being able to work independently

• Part of my job is to engage with customers and talk to them about the products we sell
• I try to understand the needs of the customer so that when I am promoting product, I know how to personalise the experience for them
• Another large part of my day to day job role is working as part of a team
• The team at joules aim to work together to solve problems we encounter
• This job has taught me a lot about independence, and quick thinking, there has been several occasions where I have been left on my own to run the shop floor whilst my managers are busy with admin in the office
