Whilst working within hospitality I have been involved in management of waste disposal including food waste, chemicals, oil and packaging materials ensuring that these are disposed of appropriately according to the relevant regulations, ensuring all Health and Safety legislations are adhered to. I am confident in carrying out the clean up procedures that are in place when there are spillages, including oil, chemicals and human waste following all relevant protocols.


Within my role in hospitality I undertake daily stock checks, ordering items that are required for the bar and kitchen usage and spot checks to ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant is maintained.

Having worked in the role of Supervisor in my current employment I have had to have work delegated to me to undertake, and also I have had to delegate work to others as part of the supervisor role.

Working in hospitality means that there has always been an expectation to work flexibly. I work a variety of shifts and this is not a problem for me. I have worked in hospitality for approximately 7 years. During this time I have developed as a person and gained in confidence which is evident in my customer service. I have received a large number of compliments about both my personality and my dedication to the role. I am able to undertake a varied workload and adapt to situations.


Hospitality can be a very pressurised environment and I am more than capable of working within time limited schedules as I have very good time management. I am aware of my limitations and will always ask for advice when I need to. I am keen to learn new skills and seek new opportunities.
