During the COVID pandemic, I was employed on a temporary, open ended contract with Dignity Bereavement and Funeral Services. My experience of working for over 10 years with Mind and my knowledge of the industry was vital, as the restrictions that were in place made far more challenging for the families leading to addition stress, upset and confusion. I still work with Dignity but purely in a voluntary capacity.
