  • Team briefings - outlining objectives, assessing previous shift performance and discussing any possible queries or health and safety issues.
  • Prioritizing orders and utilizing personnel to meet delivery times.
  • Regular stock checks, liaising with planning department to ensure orders can be fulfilled.
  • Shear line operation - cutting rebar stock to desired length, working to tolerances and targeting minimal scrap.
  • Overhead crane driver - moving lifts of up to 4 tonne and 18 metres in length, carrying out complex loading of finished product onto trailers (up to 28 tonne).
