Ensuring colleagues take their breaks at a reasonable time.

Complying with safe and legal regulations.

Compiling detailed handovers so the next team are kept aware of what jobs have been done and what jobs still need completed.

Independently working to make sure baked goods are prepared for the store opening in the morning.

Maintaining good hygiene standards and sanitary conditions.

Ensuring allergen information is visible and any additional ingredient information is available on request.

Carefully counting stock in the store to keep records accurate and control the level of stock sent from the depot.

Carrying out counting and order confirmation routines.

Investigating stock level discrepancies.

Working closely with an independent team to carry out stock takes.

Organising the warehouse to ensure easy access to stock and making counting stock easier.

Working on checkouts, stacking shelves and being helpful for customers. Ensuring any equipment used is done so safely.

Bringing in deliveries safely using correct PPE (Steel toe cap boots, gloves, high visibility vests etc.)

Cleaning up any spillages and ensuring wet floor signs are in place so no customers or colleagues are injured.
