  • As Mathematics Coordinator facilitated the implementation of numerous schemes: White Rose, Inspire, New Heinemann; conducted yearly monitoring, review and Inset; planned and delivered whole school Maths Days; organised and participated in external mathematics competitions such as the Sheffield University Hallam Pop Quiz; and have ensured high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Acted as a Key Stage 2 form tutor particularly in Y6, providing guidance and support to students, and teaching across the curriculum, with particular strengths in mathematics and science.
  • Coordinated the running of the House System and acted as a House Master. In addition to awarding certificates and being very successful in inter-house competitions, this role also involved connecting with the wider community and supporting a different House charity each year: Pathways (Chesterfield), The Luncheon Club (Barlborough) and Assist (Sheffield).
  • Collaborated with the Head of Music to direct successful school productions most recently including: 'Joseph', 'Aladdin' and 'The Wizard of Oz'.
  • Planned and ran trips including residentials to London and Hollowford Outdoor Pusuits Centre; and day trips to Leicester Space Centre and Sheffield City Hall to promote experiential learning.
  • Facilitated extra-curricular activities promoting holistic development of pupils including: chess, sport, cooking and supporting the parents' association with the running of events such as Movie Night.
