- I originally played for a mixed-sex team where I was the only girl on the team. I played in defence and have always made sure I am encourage the team during matches.
- Playing in a mixed sex team enabled me to break do some of th barriers around being a female football player in a mainly boys team/league. It developed my confidence and ability to communicate with other players and manager.
- We played matches across the county and sometimes as far as Southampton/New Forest.
- I then moved to Gosport Falcons which is a female only team. I still play in defence and enjoy working with the players to ensure we work effectively as a team.
