My mum started running the taypot in 2023, a dream that she has had for many years and I'm very proud she has done this and i can help her with this. My main role at the café was the Managed cash transactions at café meaning that i am the form of contact for customers coming i into the business and the first face they see when entering the café. I process orders efficiently and process card and cash payments. I have developed my confidence by interacting with new and regular customers while taking their order and waiting for their order. I also like to do check backs on the customers that decide to eat in to check they are happy and upsell further drinks. I also have good communication with my fellow workers as good communication is key for the business to run as effectively as possible. Remove personal pronoun also maintain clean, tidy and organised checkout areas creating a good profile for the café.

I worked at burger king on a part-time contract and it was an honour to work in such a big establishment and my role was very interesting as i covered a lot of things using my flexibility with things like cashier work, dealing with customers' complaints with empathy and professionalism, organising storage around and handing food out to customers and doing this in a team developed skills such as teamwork and problem solving skills which are both key skills that will help me in jobs in the future.
