  • My role as a Partnership Coordinator with Serco was to build strong, collaborative relationships with businesses, key stakeholders such as FE providers to support learners in to apprenticeships and T-levels and economic development partners in the east midlands & Cambridgeshire regions.
  • Account managed businesses which I have sourced myself nurturing and developing accounts to maximise quality learner starts. I have achieved success with employers & apprenticeships. One of which is AM Fresh in Peterborough which generated 175 learners with 44+ apprenticeship outcomes. Anicca Digital (Leicester) 14 Teamleading with 6 apprenticeship outcomes. Marpak 19 Warehousing/5 ILM.
  • Forging strong relationships with regional DWP Partnership Managers has been key to me making a positive impact in the respective regions supporting jobseekers & employed workers. I was supporting the Digital Skills Bootcamps in Manchester with success which includes one employer taking up training for 130 employees.
  • My key achievements are generating new business across various business sectors resulting in 700+ learner starts and 196 apprenticeship outcomes. I have also made an impact on the GMCA Manchester contract increasing employer engagement and generating 165 learner starts within 6 months.
  • Led a team of Serco Partnership Coordinators to share ideas and good practice which generated opportunities to develop their own regions to increase learner starts. One of my successes was the introduction of virtual Gateway to Skills webinars to reach out to new businesses during the pandemic lockdown which generated 144 new learner starts.
  • A recent success was leading a group of ten national manufacturing businesses in Peterborough which meets every three months to discuss recruitment, skills, and business grant opportunities. This stakeholder management resulted in 235 new learner starts which included 44 apprenticeships. I regularly received repeat business.
  • Engaged with local FE Colleges to support young people through apprenticeships, and similar initiatives such as Kickstart & T levels where I worked collaboratively to support young people and local businesses. Good knowledge of Degree apprenticeships pathways. ESF contract ended May 2033.

  • Actively promoted training opportunities across the Cambridgeshire region which increased the number of businesses who accessed our training courses This resulted in 130 new businesses over a short period that I engaged with. One key success was with Freebridge Housing in Norfolk with 33 apprenticeships being signed up.
  • Supported the BBO project aimed at Job seekers with severe barriers to employment & delivered structured face to face training courses that received positive participant feedback & up-skilled them with soft skills training.
  • Liaised with our NEETS team who were supporting young people with barriers to employment to engage local employers to offer placements to the group. we secured 11 employers who supported the group.
  • I gave presentations to 16 to 19 year olds advising them about careers and apprenticeship pathways & the benefits of education to progress their careers.
  • Increased revenue growth for apprenticeships through targeted account management which included supporting existing accounts which required nurturing to maximise numbers.
  • One key success was securing a large international business in Cambridge resulting in 36 employees undertaking courses for ILM, Digital Skills employed by Cole-Palmer. Feedback was positive from the employer and learners which resulted in further cohorts being introduced for warehousing courses. I was offered a position with Serco which utilised my skills more.

  • Nurturing and developing new and existing accounts to up-sell Babington brand which included ESFA funded courses and commercial training where required. Accountable for meeting set income and learner starts each month.
  • Worked with and supported other BDM's within the team to share good practice and support each other when required at events.
  • Successfully passed 6 month probation which was due to quick impact made through strong business development skills.
