  • Ran a store of 15 people including an ASM and 2 supervisors. I opened the brand-new store on the 8th December 2-3 weeks before Christmas with a brand new team who some had never worked in retail. Skills I have gained- People team training, mental health training, dealing with difficult conversations and management skills. I have a clothing department instore that I have enjoyed gaining the skills and merchandising techniques to make it a well running and well profitable store. Keyholding, rota scheduling and merchandising are my main job roles. CITRIX, DIMENSIONS and Think time are the applications we use instore.

  • Was approached by my Area Manager to become Deputy for one of the local stores in our area. Ran the store on my own with no Dep training through the golden quarter. Store was a focus store for everything and all KPIs was Red. Store Manager was then appointed in the April of 2023 and I was then tasked with sorting the stores Audit paperwork and merchandised with the Store Manager, I had a good relationship with the Store Manager who really taught me a lot of skills and knowledge on next steps to become a Store Manager. Jobs involved in this role was rota managing, stock control managing for the whole store, space layout and planning, seasonal change and managing/maintaining a small warehouse.

  • Joined SUBFERO as a Customer service desk analyst covering the business 365 office package. My day-to-day job role was accepting tickets from businesses over the world and helping them choose the right 365 package for them. I helped set up accounts, set up outlook, adding users and setting up a domain for their emails etc. Had to leave as distance was an issue and COVID fuel prices, we were also expecting my first child and needed something closer to home.

  • Stepped up through the internal colleague step up program from colleague to supervisor then to Replenishment/Floor manager. This involved being part of the senior management team instore, keyholding and running OOH shifts. I was 19 when given the Replenishment Manager role and really gained a lot of skills whilst being in this role. I was FLT trained, TOREX trained for stock control and stock receipting. I managed the warehouse instore and managed all the external deliveries making sure orders were sent to the correct suppliers and everything was booked in on time.
