The role involves applying person-centred support to empower supported people to make their own decisions, build essential life skills for future tenancies and safeguard them and others from harm.

• Assisting with personal hygiene and completing domestic duties in line with preferences.
• Administering medication using agreed procedures and recording outcomes appropriately.
• Planning enjoyable activities based on individual desires each day, with a focus on engagement with the community
• Encouraging interactions with members of the public when service users wished.
• Promoting safety for supported people and the public during outings in community settings.

• Initially trained as a peer support worker before moving on to weekly gardening sessions
