I am a dedicated and ambitious HGV Technician. I achieved my Level 3 HGV Apprenticeship with merits and distinctions, with electrical diagnostics being my sole pass grade assessment. Acknowledging my commitment to the sector, I secured a place on the DAF Apprenticeship Panel, selected as one of the top 10 candidates through a competitive process. My aim is to continuously enhance my expertise across all areas, keeping me aligned with industry standards and best practices. I have a strong interest in performance tuning and vehicle optimization, revelling in watching others push the limits of power and efficiency. The profound impact of engineering choices on a vehicle’s capabilities inspires me, and I intend to develop my skills in this area in the future. I actively seek new learning experiences, whether through hands-on work or specialized training. Outside of my professional life, I am a regular gym goer, which helps me cultivate discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic—traits that drive both my career and personal aspirations. With my technical expertise, problem solving skills, and commitment to efficiency. I thrive in fast paced environments, collaborating with fellow technicians to provide high-quality maintenance and repairs while ensuring vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction. I cover a 65-mile radius for DAFaid, handling roadside repairs and breakdowns quickly and efficiently. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of callouts and the satisfaction of getting trucks moving again. It’s one of the best parts of being an HGV technician.
