I have had experience of jobs in factories and warehouses however I now work in security. I am a hard worker and have always worked overtime and almost never have any days off work with any illness at all. I have worked on club doors doing night shifts however spent most of my time doing retail security. I have been working in security since December 2022 and still enjoy really my job. During my time working security I have done everything in some form, for example I controlled the CCTV as well as working on the shop floor while working at a big store and also worked standing just around the exit area in a small store. My current Job is in a Shopping centre with around 200 shops. Working their most communication is done using radios so I am very used to using them and understand my way around them too. My job is also around the public all day so I have dealt with all possible situations, both good and bad which so I know how to communicate clearly with everybody that I see.

- For this job I worked in a big shop, my role at this job was to catch and stop shoplifters using the CCTV cameras and also walking round the shop periodically to check the main expensive isles
- I also did a few shifts at the smaller stores in the town centres but I didn't do as many and my job was the same here only I didn't have any CCTV cameras to watch
- My shift was normally 8 hours however somedays i did up to 14 hours and lots of bank holidays
- I also dealt with police alot during this job because of problems with kids and shoplifters as-well as a few aggressive people, mainly around the evening.
- Answered alarms, investigated disturbances and contacted law enforcement personnel to escalate crises.
- Reviewed camera and system feeds and alerted proper respondents regarding discrepancies.
