Autonomous Navigation and Control Engineer

  • Working mainly on planning trajectory generation of a six-wheel rover which allows the rover to move autonomously in pre-planned path-planning
  • The Mars rover can move in the Mars environment with a maximum speed of 1m/s with the availability to avoid collision in a dynamic environment.
  • The rotational function of the wheels is generated by the velocity difference between 2 sides of the rover, which creates a torque about the centre of mass of the rover that allows it to rotate.

AI Residency Lab Intern

  • The whole project is simulated and tested on NVIDIA Isaac Sim and rviz2 (ROS2 Humble)
  • Successfully integrating Computer Vision (CV) and a pre-trained object detection model (Faster RCNN) into a self-design robotic arm (which has 6 degrees of freedom).
  • The camera has been worked to do object detection and calculate the 3D coordinate of the object with respect to the camera framework (based on the RGB image and the Depth map)
  • With the integration, the robotic arm can self-grab by using text command lines without any joint control.

Recreating Pac Man game

  • In this project, an OOP (object-oriented programming) language is used to organise the variables between each class and functions.
  • Start applying mathematical ideas to programming such as Vector method and Pythagoras's theorem.
  • A* Algorithm is applied for the AI ghosts during the chasing mode (when the ghosts target Pac-Man).
  • The Pac-Man is controlled by using keyboard keys, while the ghosts have 3 stages (chase, scatter, and frighten stages) and move on their own based on the stage.
  • Generating the animation of Pac-Man and 4 ghosts with a frame rate of 4 frames per second (for each object), with fruits and the maze will change every time when a stage completes.

Creating nanoparticles in cancer treatment

  • Successfully manufacturing the Fe3O4 nanoparticles with a diameter between 10-20 nm
  • Using the hysteresis loop effect, the temperature of the sample has increased from 16-55 degrees Celsius (which is enough temperature to destroy the cancer cell)
  • Throughout the project, able to work long hours in the laboratory environment, and have a good understanding characteristics and interactions between each element and the process of manufacturing nanoparticles.
