As a customer service co-ordinator I worked predominantly front of house dealing with customers face to face as well as via email and over the telephone. I communicated with multi- disciplinary agencies and help with the daily running of the centre. I also step up to the role of centre manager out of hours and on the weekends therefore was responsible for the whole running of the centre, the only first aid trainer on site and shut the building down at night times.
I handled and resolved customer complaints, attended regular training and have also took on an extra role of being a safeguarding trainer for Halo.
This position was busy, challenging and rewarding all at the same time. Whilst working as a Health care assistant I always maintained confidentiality and safeguarding at all times. You are responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of patient care to all children under the direction of supervising or qualified staff. Report, observe and record changes within the service users are a very important part of this role. Also, assisting with personal care of the service users and their families. Working with your team to provide a safe and compassionate care of a high standard. Communicating and supporting parents/ carers at difficult times and always maintaining professionalism and compassion. I have taken part in regular mandatory training that is to be maintained within the NHS standards at all times.
I have completed extensive training to furthur my carerr development. This includes the role of Designated safeguarding lead.
I am a trained ELSA - emotional literacy support assistant
I have completed training in;
-Early Help
-Right Help Right Time
-Graded care profile
