  • I consider myself to be a conscientious and thorough person who has excellent logical problem solving skills, is very observant and likes to thoroughly understand 'how things work', this allows me to do my job more effectively and efficiently and makes it much easier and quicker for me to diagnose and deal with machinery problems and issues should they arise when at my place of work
  • I have been heavily involved with several projects within manufacturing at Howdens in recent years, these include commissioning of new machine lines and with new product introduction and trial projects
  • As a more experienced member of the team I am instrumental in the introduction of new processes and new products on the shopfloor in Westside panels I do a lot of training with new starters and apprentices, quite often im the 'go to' person when problems arise within the department

Accomplishments

During my time on the commissioning team for the W lines in 2016/17 I was chosen to attend Wimbledon for my contributions to the project.

During the aftermath of Covid and the challenges and difficulties it presented with Westside panels I was chosen to attend the Edinburgh shopping trip for my contributions to the department.
