Working within and leading a small team which covers all of Northern Ireland ensures that I am both motivated and flexible in my approach to get jobs done in timely manner.
Starting with Me Group (previously Photo-Me) in 1998 as a Field Service Engineer, servicing and maintaining company owned equipment, I progressed to the position of Team Leader responsible for Northern Ireland.
Initially servicing mostly photo booths and other related equipment, but in the last 7 - 8 years our business has diversified in Northern Ireland to mostly Self Service Laundries.
My current duties include:
Organising routine visits for engineers.
Monitoring reported breakdowns and reacting accordingly.
Maintaining stock levels within the store.
Software loading onto PCs within the laundry, both on site and remotely.
Overseeing delivery of new equipment.
Commissioning of new equipment, including uploading of washing machine and dryer programs from my laptop.
Ensuring correct detergent / softener dosage through dosing pumps.
Fault finding and ordering of and replacing spare parts where necessary.
Periodic reports to Regional manager in Scotland.
Kee Services office was based in Belfast, but the majority of work involved travelling throughout Northern Ireland responding to breakdown calls or doing routine preventative maintenance on a range of equipment from high end white goods (Miele and Gaggenau) and Miele commercial laundry equipment, to autoclaves, bottle washers and bed pan macerators (Haigh and Sluicemaster) in Hospitals and Nursing Homes. Involving fault finding and ordering of and replacement of spare parts where necessary.
I enjoy playing golf and am an active member of Kirkistown Castle Golf
club, having been a Council member for 8 years.
