I have considerable diverse experience over my 38 Years in Dental Nursing
I have gained a wealth of experience over the years in all my Dental Nurse roles This has led to an extensive knowledge on Policy and HR issues I am passionate around making sure my team are paramount in delivering the best possible care we can to our complex patients
I have always aspired to lead a team and be a compassionate and caring Manager I absolutely love a challenge and when faced with complex or difficult situations have handled them with great care and to the best of my ability I have mentored and supported many new starters and was part of the Trusts initiative a few years ago for recruiting Apprentices I have always aspired to teach, but not had the opportunity to further this
I possess a degree equivalent with my BTEC National Diploma in Science and Dental Technology I was asked to teach new recruits during my time within the Royal Air Force laboratory skills and associated theoretical knowledge to assist their learning
I have written training packages for our equipment within CDS
I completed my D32/33 Vocational Assessor award back in 2000 to teach and assess NVQ Level 3 Dental Nursing Although this was a long time ago I feel I have transferrable skills and once training is undertaken to moderate activities in the NEBDN portfolios
I am very keen to learn and relish a new opportunity
