I currently work within a team of teaching staff over the groups primary provision to deliver and promote positive attitudes and behaviour.


Prior to this I worked with our Post 16 students were I would Liaise with work experience providers around risk assessments and support our Careers Lead with implementing the Gatsby Benchmark Framework.


My daily duties include:


  • Investigating incidents reported as bullying, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach towards such acts.
  • Evaluating and addressing individual student needs and concerns through targeted assessments.
  • Developing a comprehensive Behaviour Support Plan for reducing classroom disruptions.
  • Completing individualised behaviour plans to meet student needs.
  • Analysing incident reports to identify trends in negative behaviours.
  • Completing risk assessments to cover safeguarding students and staff.

My job was to help families within our school community and to build skills and resilience for a better future.

I provided practical and emotional support, advice and assistance with housing, home situations, completing forms and attending meetings to assist parents and carers.

I have completed 'The Solihull Approach Parenting Group' training and am qualified to facilitate running a group. I was also the schools deputy designated safeguard lead.

My background at Landau Forte also consists of a previous pastoral Lead position before I was promoted to be the schools Family Support worker.

  • Supported and advised parents regarding various issues and signposted additional services.
  • Worked closely with schools; improved child attendance rates.

My job was to support Families in our School Community and to work with small groups of pupils using the 'ELSA' support programme and Lego Therapy.

As the schools Deputy designated safeguarding lead i attended all agency meetings and dealt with all safeguarding issues in school.

  • Offering practical daily living advice, including financial planning, housing support and legal guidance.
  • Liaising closely with social services to safeguard at-risk children.
  • Initiated and led parent support networks through workshops such as The Solihull Parenting Programme which was designed to Improve children's behaviour by implementing structure and routine.
  • Supported and advised parents regarding various issues and signposted additional services.
