The NE03 is double-tower student accommodation project with 282 apartments and amenity spaces for leisure and commercial use. Cost of the MEP package including the utility services: 19.5 million pounds.


  • Pre-construction : Organizing the MEP pre order placement interview(POPI). Gap analysis between tender and construction issue information. Validations. Issuing of technical submissions & sample for client's team approval. Reviewing & commenting on working drawings. QA factory visits. Validation of contractor design portions (CDP). Integrations with other trades. Providing buildability and programme advice. Organising reflected ceiling plan co-ordination & clash detection workshops. Ensuring compliance with building regulations. Reviewing RAMS pertinent to specialist activities. Setting up Commissioning sequence strategy. Implementing progress, quality and drawing release tracking methods.
  • Construction: Agreeing/submitting MEP benchmarks. Undertaking technical co-ordination of MEP installations. Chairing Weekly MEP design & progress meetings. Reporting to the board on progress and risks. Reviewing & commenting on program updates.
  • Sustainability: Leading the mechanical part of the Exemplar project ( an exercise with the vision of a zero net carbon footprint during construction phases) for the company in Wembley Park for the NE03 and NE02 projects. Implementing smart monitoring of usages and automated control systems. Introducing a mobile energy centre of air source heat pumps for the site office and welfare facilities.
  • Utilities & MEP aftercare for previous projects delivered by Sisk in Wembley Park: Leading the utilities packages for the twin projects ( NE03 & NE02). Taking control of crucial MEP tasks during the aftercare period for the buildings E04 and E05.

The South Quay Plaza 1 is the highest residential tower in Europe combining: 612 high end residential apartments with 4 of them being triple-storey penthouses. The commonly used areas include cinemas and bars, outdoor gardens, retail units, a gym with an infinity pool and sauna facilities. The MEP package cost : 60 million pounds.


  • Construction : Initially part of MEP team of 4 members with tasks managing the completion of the plantroom responsible to serve 1100 apartments (SQP1 612 and SQP4 500). First fix to completion of all the mechanical and electrical elements for the first tower SQP1 including the final black building test and client handover training. Co-ordinating as may be necessary the activities of the trades and disciplines involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme, the quality and cost standards required by the Company. Inspections of new installations, technical and quality compliance.
  • Commissioning: Reviewing test packs. Recording information compliance. Organising commissioning demonstrations. Commenting of subcontractor M&E O+M manuals. Creating M&E definitive snagging list & clearance of same. Recording information for additional works and providing post handover support.
