As a Case Administrator, I support other Probation Colleague's to help reduce reoffending. On a daily basis I carry out the following duties and activities.

  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining accurate offender and victim information on relevant approved databases.
  • Ensure the effective administration of referrals to and relationships between offender management, victims, interventions, service providers and external agencies and partnerships to enhance positive outcomes, manage risk, and reduce reoffending.
  • Prepare, maintain and collate case and other records, files and management information, in accordance with the standards required.
  • Receive and distribute information and communications in an appropriate manner, e.g. telephone, paper, e-mail.
  • Provide cover for an effective and efficient reception and telephone enquiry service
  • Act as single point of contact within unit for specialist area of work as required
  • Deal fairly, effectively and firmly with a range of Service users, some of whom may be in crisis, distress or who may display inappropriate or aggressive behaviour, and to seek appropriate support in accordance with the circumstances and office procedures.
  • Make practical arrangements such as appointments, directions, etc., for the implementation of the Sentence Plan.
  • Carry out enforcement administration as required.
  • Where necessary, issue petty cash /vouchers/warrants for travel costs etc, maintaining appropriate records in line with local office financial procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate systems to ensure the effective use of general unit resources and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
  • Undertake specific Visor administration tasks in accordance with the procedures
  • Attend meetings as appropriate. Provide support to meetings as required including organising agenda, taking and, distributing notes/minutes and action points
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures, undertake equipment tests as required.
  • Provide cover within the unit and to other units within the LDU and Division as appropriate.
  • Carry out safeguarding children duties in accordance with the NPS statutory responsibilities and agency policies
  • Demonstrate pro-social modelling skills by consistently reinforcing pro-social behaviour and attitudes, challenge anti-social behaviour and attitudes.

During my time at Sandwell Council I was the first point of contact for all local authority services including the Housing, Rents, Repairs Adult and Children's Social Services.

My Daily duties included

  • Logging day to day repairs for tenants and planning scheduled maintenance works.
  • Taking rent payments and giving arrears advise
  • Re arranging missed bin collection and scheduling pick up of large refuge collection and also replacing lost or damaged bins.
  • Taking calls for any concerns surrounding vulnerable children and adults this could include the general public or from external agencies including the police or intervention teams from Schools or Colleges.

While at Bromford Housing I held two job roles. My first role was working within the Investment Planing Team


My duties where to identify properties that where coming up to 10,15 and 20 years old. I would then coordinate for the surveying team to attend the properties and identify which components of the property would need replacing (ie Kitchen/bathroom) then add them to the repairs program.


My second Role was working in the Portfolio Team, the team would deal with any legal and litigation issues within the Housing association as well selling any commercially unviable properties on the open market to help generate income for new build properties. During my later stages of working within the team I would ensure properties upto a certain age meet eagerly efficient standards and also helped with polices such as advising how to deal with boundary disputes and neighbor encroachment issues.

In my leisure time I enjoy leading an active life style. I attend the gym 4 times a week. I swim and cycle on a regular basis.
My main hobby is DJaying which has leaded me to play in many clubs around the country and even abroad, and enjoy spending time with friend and family.
