I have been doing odd weekend work with my father since I was around 6 years old. As I have gotten older I have experienced more of the below, along side my dad.
Things I would do on the farm include:
- Feeding the livestock
- Maintenance work around the farm
- Changing wheels on the tractors and trailers
- Cleaning inside and out of the vehicles on the farm
- Fixing water pipes
- Fixing broken fences
- Adding new fences
- Cleaning the animal huts
- Manure removal
- Capturing any escaped animals
- Identify an injured or sick animal
- Overall care for the animals

Since July last year, when I moved to Essex with my family, I began doing the gardening for family members who are unable to do it themselves, including: my great grandmother, grandmother, and my own garden at home.
