My responsibilities and duties included:

• building a rapport with a close-knit Islamic community and building upon their broken English and improving their mathmatical skills regarding budgeting and the cost of living.
• With this being a free learning program, resources were limited, I often had to think on my feet to address in class problems.
• In addition, I was front of face for drop-in potential new students and other organisations.
• Enhanced professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on best practices in English language teaching methodologies.
• Utilized authentic materials such as news articles, songs, movies, and podcasts to expose students to real-world examples of spoken English.

My responsibilities include but were not limited to:

Being an Esol teacher at EF Brisbane, my responsibilities include but were not limited to:

• teaching large/ small groups or individuals within a classroom or outdoor setting, using course proficiency guidelines to create, produce and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials as well as using many different teaching methods and resources dependent upon students difficulties, abilities and cultural comfortabilities in a fun and engaging manner

• Working alongside other current and retired teachers, delivering English lessons in a laid-back manner to Ukrainian refugees.
• English lessons are tailored week by week to the requests of the students, they are then further divided into group abilities.
• Our role is to work together to create a fun and educational environment that students wish to return to as attendance is not compulsory.

After many years of cleaning experience, I decided to set up my own cleaning business.

• Working off your own initiative and using self-discipline is a must.
• This role like many of my previous entails a level of respect and trust.
• With domestic cleaning, respect and trust are amplified as you are working within people’s private space, often when they are not present.

I worked at a Sexual Assault Referral Centre as a Crisis Worker for over four years. My job role is to:

• act as a support worker and advocate for sexual assault and rape victims; collect forensic evidence; assist nurses and/or doctors for intimate examinations; providing necessary routes for adequate after-care and forensic cleaning duties.
• Forensic cleaning here was essential to prevent cross-contamination to ensure the client’s case could never be jeopardized.
• Outside of this main role, I also covered office admin duties when sick cover or annual leave cover is required.
• Admin duties consist of data entry, client referrals, stock checks and orders, cleaning and other general office duties.
• Improved client outcomes with comprehensive risk assessments, safety planning, and resource allocation.
• Provided empathetic support to clients in crisis, guiding them towards appropriate resources and interventions.

I have worked with clients from 4 months to 90 years old. The clientele I have dealt with over the years have come from all walks of life, some with mental and physical disabilities and others with substance abuse problems.

I have leased closely with police, social services and other multiagency teams to achieve the best outcomes for anyone who has been under my care. This was a very rewarding and demanding job. Being able to manage difficult and awkward situations is something that I have become naturally accustomed to.

• I have been working as a cleaner at the above company since I was 18
• My role is to maintain a clean and tidy environment within the workplace
• This included hovering, moping, and toilet duties
• I work off my own initiative and monitor and replenish my own stock

• I work for a busy marquee company as a waitress working events i.e
• Weddings, funerals, birthdays etc
• The key skills I have gained working in this fast-paced environment are to keep calm under pressure and be patient when dealing with people, especially once intoxicated
• A happy persona, smile and can-do attitude go a long way
