Guitar Tutor

  • Skilled, hardworking individual who has a passion to help students achieve their academic goals, along with helping students gain confidence and understand complex material quickly and easily
  • Looking to expand on my experience in one on one along with group lessons
  • However, professional in using interpersonal skills, excellent time management along with being able to utilize skills for other challenges
  • Currently studying HNC Music working within bands and rehearsing weekly with an upcoming live gig, along with other Musical aspects such as Songwriting, Music Theory, Music Business and Music First Study.

Guitar Tutoring 'Buddy' Mentoring

  • Along with guitar tutoring, I also volunteered my free time to become a 'Buddy' with an S1 pupil who was transitioning from Primary to High School
  • This role entailed of myself ensuring that my buddy was settling into High School well, and also making sure that they had no worries or concerns about things such as class work, socializing with others, finding their way around the school and many other aspects of the high school environment.

1 Year Completion of HNC Music

In this position I studied different aspects of Music. These ranged from practical and theory based modules, to other modules entailing Music Business, Music History, Songwriting, Running a Live Music event and more.

During my time studying this course, I gained valuable experience in many ways. Some of the experience I have attained would be the following:

Efficient ways to run and promote a live event, which in turn helps attract a target audience/market. This in turn allowed me to raise over £1,000 for St Andrews Hospice.

Further experience regarding how to communicate professionally and portray myself with others on a daily basis. For example, being professional during a rehearsal with other band members.
