Summary

An experienced educator with 25 years in teaching, pastoral leadership, and student development. Highly skilled at building strong relationships with young people of all ages and placing their needs at the center of my practice. My career spans successful PE teaching and coaching, where I supported students to thrive both academically and in sport, as well as extensive Head of Year experience working with complex pastoral, behavioral, and safeguarding cases. I bring a calm, resilient approach and a well‑developed toolkit for supporting students who struggle in mainstream settings, including managing transitions into alternative and specialist provision. A strong communicator and attentive listener, I excel at identifying barriers to learning and taking decisive action to improve outcomes for young people.

Having made a significant impact in pastoral leadership, I am now seeking to return to the PE environment where I can once again inspire students through sport, teamwork, and positive physical activity, and bring renewed energy, experience, and passion to the role.
