My core responsibilities as a process engineer at Jaguar Land Rover was to develop, optimise and maintain production processes to maximise efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.

Ensuring all manufacturing activities comply with regulatory (HSE) and company health & safety standards, including introducing risk assessments, ergonomic assessments and company safety protocols.

Key roles included:

• Process supporting documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Visual management) to ensure the successful handover of robust processes to production teams.
• Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs/WES/WIS) and training staff on new methods.
• Providing detailed diagnostic expertise to solve production failures, reduce downtime and repair equipment/tools.
• Project management & capital expenditure. Planning and installing new equipment, managing budgets and liaising with suppliers.
• Analysis for manpower & capacity planning. Line balancing, efficiency and utilisation improvements.
• Implementing lean continuous improvement tools (5S, Six Sigma, TPM, JIT, Kanban).

As a manufacturing production supervisor at Jaguar Land Rover I was responsible for managing 70 associates across 3 production lines. Overseeing the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring all policy deployed production targets/KPI's are met.

Key Roles Included:

• Production Management: Overseeing daily production schedules, allocating resources, managing inventory levels and ensuring products meet company and regulatory quality specifications.
• Team Leadership & Development: Motivating staff, delivering training, conducting performance reviews, setting daily tasks and fostering a collaborative high performance culture.
• Health & Safety: Ensuring all associates are operating to good manufacturing processes and adhering to regulatory (HSE) and company health & safety regulations (A safety first mind set).
• Process Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, implementing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and resolving equipment malfunctions or production issues.
• Communication & Reporting: Conducting shift briefings, communicating KPI's to team members and leading cross functional departmental meetings.

As a Production Group Leader at Jaguar Land Rover I was responsible for the daily operations of a high speed production line, ensuring all safety, quality and deliver targets where met.

Key Roles Included:

• People Management: Leading, motivating and supporting a team of 20 associates (Training/performance reviews/managing attendance).
• Operational Efficiency: Monitoring production against key performance indicators (KPI's) to ensure targets are met, handling breakdowns and facilitating efficient shift handovers.
• Quality Control: Maintaining high quality standards by implementing quality control regulations, inspecting products and ensuring zero tolerance for non conforming products/materials.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce wasteland decrease cost.
• Health & safety: ensure strict adherence to company procedures, health & safety regulations and conducting risk assessments on processess/tasks.

As a manufacturing Production Associate at Jaguar Land Rover my role was to assembling products, operating machinery and performing quality checks to meet production target. I was responsible for adhering to safety standards, maintaining a clean work space, handling raw materials, packaging finished goods and reporting equipment issues to meet quality and delivery targets.

Key Roles Included:

• Quality Control: Monitoring production lines, measuring materials, conducting inspections for defects and ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Machine Operating & Maintenance: Operating production machinery, performing basic cleaning/maintenance and reporting/fixing mechanical issues.
• Raw Materials Management: Feeding raw materials into production tin lines and ensuring proper organised storage inventory.
