My position at SMT entails using the IDMS management system to bring parts on file for the sales team, and to receive parts in from Volvo and general stock management duties.
As I have gotten more comfortable with IDMS I now use this system to export crucial data and use it in excel reports to visualize the data to assist me in effectively managing the inventory.
In my time at SMT I have substantial experience collaborating with external suppliers to remanufacture parts, this entails communicating what we need through the use of technical drawings.
I have also dealt with multiple transport companies to arrange collection and delivery to numerous sites.
In my tenure, I have assisted our sales teams nationwide with their used parts enquiries.
On numerous occasions I've also been required to complete jobs that aren't specific to my job role for example doing invoicing for the sales team, Handling customer enquiries and processing sales.
Although my job involves working independently majority of the time, I have also worked within a team to design a sales webpage to help boost sales.
In this project I had to ensure the page met company guidelines but was also user friendly and had all the relevant information required to ease the process for our consumers.

My role at Hellofresh as a stock controller consists of daily audits of all the stock within the warehouse using an AMT device or tablet.
I'm also required to do compliance audits to make sure stock is in date and is being used in the correct date rotation, I also have to investigate issues with pallets of stock using the stock management system.
Despite only being there a short time I have been given more responsibility; I have trained many new stock controllers, agency staff and new coordinators that are training for new warehouse locations such as Derby.
On multiple occasions I have been stand-up coordinator having received all the training, I'm also in-house trained on forklifts, scissor lifts and PPTs.
