Career Highlights

  • Rolls Royce Leasing required to implement annual servicing for turbine stands to reduce adhoc costs. As Technical Operations & Lease Manager, introduced and negotiated global maintenance contract for ~650 engine transportation stands. Wrote specification / requirements documents for tender; provided technical analysis of 3 bids and selected supplier; developed SOPs for new contracts; and reviewed lifecycle updates / stand refurbishments to reduce procurement costs. Successfully negotiated 10% saving from initial bid and secured contract for 15% more capacity, including global servicing in APAC, North America and Middle East.
  • Rolls Royce Leasing purchased new lifting beams and equipment to transport turbine engines and had no policy in place for inspection. As Technical Operations & Lease Manager created policy and process for lifting equipment and oversaw inspection contract with Bureau Veritas. Tracked new equipment in SAP and oversaw audit of all lifting equipment; engaged Bureau Veritas to conduct initial inspection and registration; moved lifting equipment to regional storage facilities; and drafted lifting equipment usage policy. Successfully inspected all lifting beams, adaptors, slings and shackles, complying with LOLER & PUWER regulations.
  • Collins Aerospace is the OEM for the Dassault Falcon 6X TRAS components. The contract includes the design, OE manufacture and MRO capability for lifetime support. The OE site is in India, and the MRO was to be co-located for maximum utilisation of the test facilities. As MRO Programme Manager, planned and lead the introduction of a new MRO capability, currently holding EASA Part 145 and FAA certification. DGCA (India) certification in progress, and a new NDT Dye Penetrant Inspection capability has also been added. Project completed under budget and achieved full operating capability in Q1 2025.
