I worked as a concrete mixer hire driver, for nearly 4 years.

This involved for working for all the large national concrete plants across the country.

This position also required nights out .

In this role I gained numerous operating cards enabling me to work in different quarries ie Hansons, Tarmac etc.

As a small company whilst the owner was away I took on the role of managing the day to day running of the 4 trucks.

I enjoyed working in this role as I worked well with the other drivers and customers and due to unforeseen circumstances I was made redundant.

• Completed handballing and lifting to facilitate smooth deliveries.

• Carried out regular vehicle maintenance to maintain smooth delivery logistics.

In this role I worked as a Skip driver delivering skips sizing from 2 - 24 yard.

Enabling me to gain experience in 2 new fields ie, roll on roll off and general skip deliveries.

• Performed numerous full load and multi-drop deliveries, consistently working within company targets.
• Ensured delivery paperwork was accurately completed and processed after shifts.
• Kept accurate, up-to-date logbooks for personal workload monitoring.
• Maintained clean, compliant company vehicles, performing interior and exterior washing and safety inspections.
• Worked safely to move materials from site to site.

I worked for Wiltshire Concrete for many years this firm supplied all types of aggregates to large and small customers.

So within in these years I managed to gain lots of experience driving many different lorries and having to get new and keep on top of all my cards / licences.

Cards gained : NPORS OPERATOR ie full grab license.

The different vehicles I gained my experience in are as follows :

Mixer, Grab, Hiabb ,Sweeper and Tippers.

• As my first job I started as a produce assistant covering the Wiltshire area>
• This involved working closely with general public and my team delivering a standard of customer services and meeting targets that were required of me.
• Working to Sainsbury's high standards.
