My vision is for a school that provides a creative and relevant curriculum and where resilient, innovative and hard- working learners go on to become 21st Century leaders. The core purpose of my role as Headteacher has been to lead the school, work in partnership with and support the Leadership Team , in the professional leadership and management of the School.
I have been accountable to the Leadership Team. .I have been keen to promote a shared vision, leadership, direction and inspiration for the school, so that it contributes fully to each pupil's educational development: socially, spiritually, morally, culturally, intellectually and physically
The ethos of OBS is dependent on the mutually supportive professional partnership between the members of the Leadership Team, teaching and non-teaching staff which sets a model for professional relationships throughout the school
Fundamentally, my role as Headteacher is to take responsibility for taking a leading role in improving standards and achievement across the whole school, creating and maintaining a highly effective learning and teaching environment which is engaging and fulfilling for all pupils, allowing each child to develop and achieve their potential.
