I am a hardworking individual effective working independently and within a team, I have good time management skills and excellent interaction skills which I use to the best of my ability.
Whilst working in the role as a HGV recovery driver I obtained my crane operating certificate which then allowed me to remove untaxed vehicles off the road from all over the west midlands and bring them back to our impound. When removing the vehicles it is my responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is removed safely and secure to avoid any damages or danger to the public.
Following on from my previous role as an Enforcement officer I now hold a class 1 licence.
When starting at NSL my first position was an enforcement officer, this consisted of driving all around the West Midlands in a vehicle fitted with ANPR cameras which detected any untaxed vehicles.
During this role I committed to overtime to ensure myself and my colleagues reached our monthly targets.
Working in this I was given the opportunity to work along side the council and the police to enforce the law. Working within this role I have faced confrontational situations with members of the public where I have had to diffuse situations to avoid escalation which has helped me to improve on my people skills and customer service.
Working within the warehouse operations I assembled hydraulic hoses to the correct sizes and quantity for the customers order, it was my main priority to make sure that all orders were completed to high standards and to ensure the orders are packed and ready to leave on-time to meet the customers satisfaction.
As an apprentice at Aspire Sports I organised end-of-year award ceremonies recognising achievements amongst pupils boosting morale within the class.
I worked alongside school teachers in developing PE curriculum's that were both engaging and beneficial to students' physical development and encouraged positive attitudes towards physical activity by making sports enjoyable for children.
